Adorn your spring dessert table with these (easy!) 5-Ingredient Birds Nests. Best of all, they're vegan and gluten-free, making them a treat that everyone can enjoy.

5-Ingredient Birds Nests Recipe
Makes about 13-15 nests
Ingredients
1/3 cup (76 g) dairy-free butter
16 oz (453 g) vegan marshmallows (I prefer vanilla ones)
2 cups (55 g) Rice Krispies cereal
2 cups (145 g) shredded toasted coconut
About 40-45 vegan chocolate eggs
Method
In a large saucepan on medium heat, melt the dairy-free butter. Once melted, add in the vegan marshmallows. You may need to lower the heat a smidge and pop a lid on top to help the melting process. Mix often so they don’t stick to the pan. If sticking, add a tablespoon of dairy-free milk.
Once melted into a sort or fluff (it will look different than melted non-vegan marshmallows) remove from heat and let cool for a minute or two. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies and coconut.
Using a cookie scooper, scoop out two balls of the mixture. On a plate or pan lined with parchment paper, flatten out the center to create a birds nest shape. Repeat until the mixture is used up.
Place 3 chocolate eggs in the center of each nest. Serve immediately or let slightly harden in a sealed container in the fridge.
